Job Description
Larian Studios seeks a Technical QA Tester Intern to contribute to the improvement of their Divinity engine. Responsibilities include performing manual testing (regression, integration, etc.), assisting the programming team with testing code changes, testing and improving production pipelines and tools, ensuring build stability, reporting bugs, validating corrections, managing the bug tracking system, and providing first-line technical support. The ideal candidate is passionate about video games, possesses knowledge of programming/scripting and game engines, and demonstrates strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Fluency in English is essential.

Responsibilities
- Perform all kinds of manual testing (regression, integration etc)
- Closely assist the programming team with testing specific changes before code gets in the main developer branches
- Test and help improve our production pipelines and tools
- Test new builds to ensure stability of the tools
- Follow priorities given by QA Lead to ensure current team wide goals are met
- Report bugs, validate bug corrections
- Assure follow-up of tickets during different production phases
- Manage the bug tracking system
- First line of support for the production team with regard to any technical issues
- Work within an international team on a daily basis, spread between multiple studios across the world
Requirements
- Passion for video games
- Knowledge of programming and/or scripting
- Experience working with game engines
- Good judgement to estimate the significance and consequences of the bugs
- Rigorous and methodical, autonomous and resourceful approach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- You are a team player and willing to take responsibility
- Good communication skills in English.*
Nice to haves
- Prior experience in QA is a big plus
- Knowledge of Perforce, JIRA and Jenkins
- Knowledge of Network Configurations (router, DNS, firewall, etc)
- Familiar with the RPG genre

Responsabilités
- Effectuer toutes sortes de tests manuels (régression, intégration, etc.)
- Collaborer étroitement avec l'équipe de programmation pour tester les changements spécifiques avant que le code n'arrive dans les principales branches de développement
- Tester et aider à l’amélioration de nos pipelines et de nos outils de production
- Tester les nouvelles versions du jeu afin d’assurer la stabilité des outils
- Respecter les priorités établies par le chef d’équipe du QA afin de garantir la réalisation des objectifs actuels de l'équipe
- Signaler les bogues et valider leur correction
- Assurer le suivi des bogues tout au long des différentes phases de production
- Gérer le système de suivi des bogues
- Être la première ligne d’appui pour l’équipe de production en cas de problèmes techniques
- Travailler quotidiennement au sein de l'équipe internationale de Larian Studios, répartie entre plusieurs studios à travers le monde.
Exigences
- La passion des jeux vidéo!
- La connaissance des programmation et/ou scripting
- Expérience à travailler avec des moteurs de jeu
- Bon jugement pour estimer l’importance et les conséquences des bogues
- Approche méthodique, rigoureuse, autonome et débrouillarde
- Excellentes capacités de communication interpersonnelle
- Vous avez un esprit d'équipe et êtes prêt à prendre des responsabilités
- Bonne capacité de communication en anglais.*

- Expérience en QA est un grand atout

- Connaissance des réseaux de configurations (Routeur, DNS, pare-feu, etc.)
- Familier avec les jeux de rôle
