Job Summary
Job Description
The Video Streaming Specialist (VSS) at Google's gTech Professional Services team supports Google's largest Video and Broadcaster partners, focusing on Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) and ad serving. This role involves working with customers and internal teams (Business, Product, Engineering) to support Google's video product suite, including live events and Video On Demand. Responsibilities include delivering solutions to video publishers, identifying and optimizing business growth, providing support for DAI, improving product offerings via feedback, and providing accurate project status updates. The ideal candidate possesses experience in system design, programming (Java, C++, Python), troubleshooting, and managing partners/customers. Preferred qualifications include experience supporting broadcasters in live streaming or developer operations and troubleshooting OTT streaming devices.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- System design or programming experience
- Technical troubleshooting skills
- Partner/customer management experience
- Deliver solutions to video publishers
- Provide support for Google’s Dynamic Ad Insertion business
Good to have:
- Experience supporting broadcasters in live streaming
- Experience troubleshooting OTT streaming devices
- Communication skills (technical to non-technical audiences)

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in system design or in programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).
- Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in supporting broadcasters in live streaming or developer operations positions.
- Experience troubleshooting Over-the-Top (OTT) steaming devices.
- Ability to absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.

Video Streaming Specialists (VSS) team members interact with customers and Google’s Business, Product and Engineering teams to support Google’s suite of video products. Responsibilities
- Deliver solutions to video publishers.
- Identify, drive, and optimize business growth from partners and ad-networks by leveraging Google technologies.
- Provide support for Google’s Dynamic Ad Insertion business as part of a global team to ensure prompt and proper resolution of customer impacting technical tests.
- Improve product offerings by providing feedback on customer and serviceability needs to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
- Provide internal and external stakeholders with appropriate, timely, and accurate customer and project status updates.
