Job Description

The Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions will work with businesses of all sizes to develop and implement effective advertising strategies using Google's products. Responsibilities include building client relationships, understanding their business challenges and marketing objectives, developing data-driven recommendations, and achieving business growth goals. The role requires fluent English and Finnish communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and experience in advertising or marketing. This position involves regular client consultations, presentations, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful business outcomes.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Finnish fluently to support clients in the Finnish market.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • 1 year of experience managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

In this role, you will deliver effective solutions to potential businesses from all verticals and business models, in each stage of their journey, in an efficient way for the business.

You will establish relationships by conducting regular phone consultations and business pitches with a large portfolio of clients. You will use your problem-solving and objection handling skills to operate in a fluid environment, reaching for ambitious business and productivity goals. Using your relationship-building skills, you will provide Google-caliber solution business, partnership management and analysis to deliver successful business outcomes. Using your commercial acumen, you will find out the business needs of Google's key clients and achieve their marketing objectives while driving incremental business agreements through our industry leading advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with our clients, and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a set standard.
  • Plan for, and achieve, business growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products or solutions that will help our clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop data-driven analysis and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify opportunities with recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a range of marketing objectives.
