Job Summary

Job Description

As an Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions, you'll consult with advertising companies of all sizes, finding optimal advertising solutions. You'll leverage your sales skills and digital economy expertise to help brands expand their businesses using Google's advertising products. Responsibilities include delivering against quarterly growth goals, building client relationships, conducting consultations and pitches, owning a portfolio of small businesses, driving customer growth, and achieving customer business and marketing objectives. You will be the face of Google for your portfolio of clients, listening to their needs and defining strategies to reach a wider audience. The role requires fluent English and Norwegian communication skills for supporting clients in the Norwegian market.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent English and Norwegian
  • Google Ads and online advertising knowledge
  • Client relationship building and consultative sales
  • Meeting quarterly business goals
  • Portfolio management and growth
Good to have:
  • Google Digital Workshop Certification
  • Experience overachieving quotas
  • Strong narrative and storytelling skills
  • Stakeholder influence

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Norwegian fluently to support clients in the Norwegian market.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Google Digital Workshop or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Norway and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular phone consultations and business pitches with clients to advise them on how to get the best return on their Google Ads investment.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
