Job Description

This Account Strategist role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on driving growth and product adoption for mid-market businesses. You'll work directly with agencies and advertisers, building relationships and providing strategic advertising guidance. Responsibilities include developing business strategies, improving client relationships, managing growth goals, and ensuring a strong return on investment for clients' advertising spending. Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential, along with experience in sales, marketing, or business analytics within a technology or media company. The role involves leveraging Google Ads and YouTube account management expertise to create and implement effective advertising campaigns.
Must have:
  • 2+ years sales/marketing/analytics experience
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing multiple accounts
  • Develop business driving scaled product adoption
Good to have:
  • Experience with Google Ads & YouTube
  • Experience in technology/advertising sales
  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in sales, marketing or business analytics at an agency, technology, or media company.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing multiple accounts simultaneously while paying attention to detail.
  • Experience with sales in a technology, advertising, media sales, or internet environment.
  • Experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management, managing advertising or media campaigns.
  • Ability to grow in a changing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customers business driving scaled product adoption and growth.
  • Work towards goals while prioritizing and delivering customer experience to Google's agencies and advertisers.
  • Implement creative ways to improve the agency and customer relationships and share performance enhancing suggestions.
  • Manage business growth and productivity goals, and drive in quarter business growth and product adoptions.
  • Provide strategic advice and help our advertisers get the investment return on their advertising by working in a consultative role with account strategist.
