Job Description

The Algorithm Engineer will work in a team environment to develop next-generation products for automotive ADAS, active safety, and AD vehicle systems. This will include design, development, and testing of feature/function algorithms, behaviour, trajectory planning, assessment & vehicle control algorithms.
Must have:
  • Design, simulate, implement, and test ADAS algorithms using MATLAB-Simulink and/or C++
  • Collaborate with systems engineers to support the creation and break-down of requirements and test cases
  • Develop technical specifications and DFMEAs
  • Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to ensure proper feature functionality
  • Proactively identify and contribute to changes that help the product progress along its roadmap
  • Analyse defects and test results to ensure KPI achievement by root causing the issues and designing algorithm improvements
  • Work with colleagues and customers to develop and implement enhancements to address real-world performance issues
  • Complete assigned individual and team tasks
  • Follow defined software development and documentation procedures
Good to have:
  • Master’s degree in EEE, Instrumentation, ECE Engineering, Computer Science, related technical
  • 2+ years of development and testing of algorithms and code experience (can include industry, academic or internship) – C++
  • Superior communication & presentation skills
  • Background in automotive radar, vision, lidar, sensor fusion
  • ISO 26262 / Functional Safety functional expertise

Your Role:

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related technical field.
  • Experience with State Estimation and advanced filtering methods.
  • 3+ years of programming experience in development and testing of algorithms in: C++
  • Strong background in control theory & systems design
  • Excellent data extraction & analysis skills (MATLAB, Excel)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
