Job Summary

Job Description

The C Team Cleanroom Lead is responsible for communicating between shift supervisors and operators, overseeing and verifying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality checks, and motivating the team during shifts. Key duties include identifying and notating wafer defects, scanning wafers using a scope, measuring wafers on a five-point grid, and cleaning wafers. The role also involves carrying out cleanroom experiments for process development, documenting new procedures, and participating in the implementation of a cleanroom process development plan. Additionally, the lead supports training new employees and maintains a preventative maintenance program for assigned areas, while also maintaining semiconductor production work areas.
Must have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime
  • Experience with PC systems (Excel, Email, MRP)
  • Technically inclined with mechanical skills
  • Problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Reporting and documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and suggest improvements
  • U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual
  • Good hand dexterity
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to wear PPE
Good to have:
  • Experience with 5S

Job Details

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

· Communicator between shift supervisor and operators

· Oversee and verify SOP's and quality checks are being done

· Keep team motivated throughout the shift

· Identify and notate defects on the wafer

· Scanning wafers using a scope

· Measuring wafer on a five-point grid

· Cleaning the wafer

· Carries out clean room experiments as part of engineering-directed, contract or internally funded, process development programs

· Participates in the documentation of new and upgraded clean room procedures and specifications as they are readied for deployment

· Participates in the implementation and execution of a clean room process development plan.

· Supports the training of new employees assigned to the clean room activity

· Carries out a satisfactory, documented preventative maintenance program areas assigned to the clean room activity

· Maintains semiconductor production work areas.

Education & Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent 

· Must be able to work weekend hours. Overtime may be required.

· Experience with networked PC based computer system. (Excel, Email, and MRP).

· Must be technically inclined with some mechanical skills.

· Experience with problem analysis and resolution and reporting and documentation skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures while offering suggestions for continuous improvement.

· Experience with 5S considered a plus, but not required.

· Due to ITAR compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
