Category Leader - Site Services
As the category leader for employee transportation and canteen services, you will in responsible of the services for the EMEA sites but not limited to it. You will execute strategies and focus in risk management, cost savings and other supplier performance activities.
Your Role
Execute employee transportation and canteen strategies that create value to the business units.
Generate 3 yrs. roadmaps for savings opportunities.
Analyze current spend to benchmark and competitive bid.
Lead supplier relationship management SOW’s, KPI’s.
Lead governance call with top suppliers and main constitutes to secure performance and risk resolutions.
Lead contracts review and negotiation commercial negotiation process to deliver agreements that include excellent long-term pricing models, measurable service level/performance criteria, effective remedies for non-performance, mechanisms for monitoring performance/remedies, etc.
Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers in-order to achieve desired goals.
Continual monitoring of internal customers and supply markets for changes that may impact the sourcing strategy.
Responsible for developing suppliers in conjunction with the operations.
RFQ development and execution, proposal evaluation against business requirements and total cost.
The category leader will also be expected to take on additional projects as needed to support business requirements.
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required.
4+ years’ experience in supply chain management.
Experience within the automotive industry is desired and services commodities.
4+ years’ strategizing and negotiating complex contracts.
Knowledge of SCM principles, planning, negotiation, and contracts.
Understanding of manufacturing & industrial operations and track record of working in an international corporate and global environment.
Empowered decision-maker/relationship-builder with high integrity.
Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure scenarios.
Commercial acumen & analytical skills to assess supplier financial information and capability.
