We’re currently seeking a Communication Strategist for an innovative tech leader located in Cupertino, CA. This is a 7–12-month contract opportunity, fully remote, with an application deadline of 12/23/2024.
As a Communication Strategist, you will play a key role in developing and executing communication strategies for a leading global brand. You’ll collaborate with creative teams, lead data-driven wellness and safety initiatives, and engage employees through strategic messaging. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for innovation, audience engagement, and impactful storytelling.
Design Communication Plans
Develop integrated communication and engagement plans by assessing team and business needs, defining goals, and framing key messages. Partner with creative teams to deliver compelling solutions.
Strategist
Focus on audience insights and craft strategic approaches to ensure that the right messages are delivered at the right time to the right people. Synthesize information and create actionable communication plans.
Account Manager
Work closely with business leaders and cross-functional partners to define communication objectives and negotiate creative briefs. Explain the value of communication strategies to non-creative stakeholders.
Writer/Editor
Write and edit compelling narratives for campaigns, product launches, and employee initiatives. Craft senior leader talking points and create scripts that align with the organization’s vision and goals.
Collaboration and Leadership
Provide strategic guidance to creative teams, build strong relationships with business leaders, and drive successful execution of communication plans. Create concise, actionable briefs and ensure strategies align with business needs.
Empathy and Curiosity
Maintain a deep understanding of the target audience, including global employees and customers. Adapt to changing environments with agility, strong leadership, and a focus on delivering results.
Experience
7–10+ years of experience in developing and presenting communication strategies, ideally within a media, publishing, PR, or advertising agency environment.
Expertise
Strong understanding of how audiences engage with content and media. Proven ability to craft strategies that address business challenges while aligning with audience needs.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Confident in navigating large, complex organizations and working with multiple stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives.
Execution and Communication
Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling messages that inspire behavior change and achieve business objectives. Strong executional skills to transition seamlessly from strategy to execution.
Relationship Building
Exceptional ability to foster relationships across teams and lead initiatives in ambiguous, dynamic environments. Demonstrated ability to grow internal relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Global Perspective
Experience in working with international teams to develop and implement global communication strategies.
Passion for Retail
A genuine passion for retail and consumer experiences, with experience in engaging people in relatable and impactful ways at scale.
To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
