We are looking for an experienced DBA to join our team working on key challenges in the Data Platform domain.
The goal of the Data Platform team is to provide high-quality data and analytics for the company's marketing and products.

What you'll be doing:

• Optimize storage and computation costs.
• Set up and monitor schemas, tables, queries, and the execution of initial data load pipelines in the Databricks (Spark) and ClickHouse stack.
• Configure partitioning, sorting keys, optimization schedules, and select the appropriate engine.
• Support key projects by consulting on development and providing guidance.
• Train users to optimize queries, assist with organizing UDFs/dictionaries, and maintain guidelines and documentation on best practices for working with data platform tools.
• Participate in PoCs, vendor selection, and the evaluation and implementation of technology stacks.

We hope that you have

• Query optimization in Databricks (Spark) and ClickHouse – bonus: working with query execution plans, interpreting metrics and logs from system tables, and identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Data structuring and materialization methods in Delta Lake, as well as table engines in ClickHouse.
• Partitioning and sorting for query optimization.
• Storage, backups, and compression codecs.
• Monitoring Delta Lake, ClickHouse, S3, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Working with monitoring systems such as Grafana and Victoria Metrics.
• Setting up alerts in Grafana, Sentry, and Slack.

Stack: Databricks, Spark, ClickHouse, Go, MySQL, Atlas MongoDB, Tableau, Grafana, Victoria Metrics.
