We are seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to oversee the execution of all payment and financial processes. You’ll manage billing operations, from vendor and contractor payments to employee reimbursements, while driving compliance and efficiency across expense policies, procurement, and payroll.

Beyond day-to-day operations, you’ll also contribute to financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. This role will report into our Head of Finance and Operations and work alongside her to drive execution to her vision of financial and operational workflows.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee billing operations, including timely payments to vendors, contractors, employees, and advisors.
  • Manage company-wide expense policies, approvals, and reconciliations to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.
  • Optimize procurement processes and vendor management to streamline purchasing and maintain budget alignment.
  • Administer payroll operations, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Facilitate employee reimbursements, stipends, and perks with a focus on transparency and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in billing, payroll, and/or financial operations.
  • Experience in a start up environment
  • Strong understanding of tax compliance and regulatory requirements for payroll and contractor payments.
  • Proficiency in financial platforms and tools for expense management and reconciliation.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.

  • Experience in supporting financial reporting and forecasts.

 

Compensation:

The base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000-$170,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
