Frontend Engineer at Raw group in Málaga, Andalusia, Spain

Job Description

RAW is looking for a Frontend Engineer to join the start of an amazing adventure and be a part of molding one of the most exciting new studios to appear in years. You will be working to take to the next level a platform that will shake and spice up the gaming space. You will form part of a cross-functional development team where the team owns and drives the continuous improvement of our platforms and its unique features using agile methodologies.

Qualified individuals are expected to be highly motivated, well organized, with excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in developing successful platforms.

Responsibilities

Designing and building the end user facing experiences of our Arena platform with focus on our custom integration framework
Build, maintain and refactor existing code bases, extend APIs, improve client data structures and backend network requests, speed up rendering and processing and enhance the CI/CD process,
Develop new features, work und UI/UX and improve the customer journey and user flow
Optimizing and troubleshooting frontend across a diverse variety of environments
Work closely with other developers, QA, and product team members
Apply analytical skills and be committed to quality
Help track requests, issues, work progress, and any other changes using our project management tools
Manage code changes and perform code reviews
Contribute to the overall developer experience, code quality and engineering vision of RAW

Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in writing front-end code with TypeScript, JavaScript, SCSS, CSS, HTML
Strong software engineering background and profound experience in architecting, developing and delivering modern web front-ends and applications
Profound experience with modern web frameworks (vue.js, React) and reactive state management systems (e.g. Pinia, Vuex or similar) and understanding of core web technologies
Solid understanding of build tools (vite, esbuild, webpack or similar), Unit- and Integration-Testing (e.g. Cypress, Selenium), SCM (GitHub) paired with high standards on solving problems with excellent code, peer reviews, Git, CI/CD and a high degree of automation.

You have a good command of both verbal and written English
