Maersk Governance, Risk and Control (GRC) ensures an effective and efficient risk based internal control framework across Maersk. GRC is based in Finance and drives the overall control framework to ensure a sound control culture and control environment is in place. It is our mission to operationalize GRC framework and regulatory requirements through aligned, effective, and business-friendly controls and processes, solutions, and effective reporting.

GRC is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to be a part of the Governance and Policy Management function in GRC. As Quality Assurance Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of product quality and compliance.

You will be responsible for implementing QA methodologies and ensuring adherence to our standards, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, promoting continuous improvement, and maintaining robust quality assurance frameworks.

You will play a critical role in safeguarding product integrity, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving operational excellence. Additionally, you will ensure data governance practices are upheld to maintain data integrity and compliance.

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing governance, monitoring, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures across the GRC
  • Develop, implement, and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with our methodology, internal and external requirements, and best practices
  • Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of GRC processes. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure that all GRC activities comply with established policies and procedures
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with governance and control processes
  • Monitor processes to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data throughout its lifecycle from risk to reporting
  • Implement standards and policies for efficient change implementation
  • Prepare regular reports on governance, risk, and control activities to relevant stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the GRC function
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness of governance, risk, and control policies and procedures among GRC

Required experience and skills

  • Multinational company experience on process governance, risk, and control, or a related field
  • Have clear understanding of framework like COSO, SOX etc.
  • Broad experience with quality assurance methodologies and standards
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and best practices
  • Experience in compiling and analyzing data to drive quality improvements
  • Experience in conducting research and evaluating user feedback
