IT Project Manager

The company is focused on the 4X strategy genre with an ambitious goal to grow it’s hit game Total Battle to become the No.1 strategy game in the world. Role: We’re looking for experienced Project Manager to work with several IT teams with overall up to 15 employees. Project Manager is going to ensure that IT teams work as efficiently as possible — and contribute into effectiveness of IT dept. 😎

Our IT department consists of 6 teams for now: Infrastructure (Production + Office), Web, Framework, Developers Experience, Data Platform, IT Project managers and CTO. Our infrastructure consists of more than 100 services, most part of them is cloud based.

Tasks to be solved:

• Plan sprints, epics and allocate resources
  
• Control team focus and risks, react to blockers and changes
  
• Facilitate effective meetings
  
• Foster team motivation and engagement
  
• Propose and oversee continuous soft skills enhancement for leaders and team members
  
• Hold regular action-oriented 1:1s with leaders; hold occasional skip-level 1:1s with team members
  
• Organize regular team activities like planing, retrospective, review, grooming etc.
  
• Manage one cross-team epic
  
• Continuously identify key team performance issues and drive their resolution
  
• Provide metrics of team health, sprint health etc; propose solutions derived from them
  
• Organize backlog and prioritize external tasks
  
• Work with external requests to the team
  
• Ensure team processes execution; propose new if needed

The ideal candidate would:

• Has project management experience 3+ years
  
• Demonstrated success in managing 3+ teams simultaneously
  
• Is a great meeting facilitator
  
• Has outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  
• Demonstrates exceptional self-organization
  
• Demonstrates ability to deliver constructive, actionable feedback consistently
  
• Has proven track record implementing Agile methodologies
  
• Had success implementing one or several task tracking tools
  
• Has proven track record in resolving planning and development challenges
  
• Proposes and makes data-driven decisions

Would be a plus:

• Experience with projects with Cloud based infrastructure
• PMI, PRINCE2 certification
• Knowledge in creating analytical reports
• Technical background with experience in QA or Release Management
