Job Description

The Junior Specialist Panel Methods & Quality will work with tracking data to gain a better understanding of mobility behavior in Germany, including individual vs. public transport affinity. They will create and improve methods and tools, contribute to best practices in applied statistical and marketing sciences, deliver consistent data in all countries, and align different data sources. They will also use scientific methods and external sources for data calibration, support research colleagues with data expertise, and troubleshoot data quality issues with clients. The specialist will gain insights into the mobility sector, mastering the combination of panel research and geostatistical analysis.

Must have:

Master's degree in statistics or related field
Fluent in German and English.
Knowledge in R or Python.

Good to have:

Familiarity with geostatistical analysis.
Experience with Shiny apps and panel data structure

Job Details

The overarching theme in the Panel Methods & Quality team and especially for this position is ensuring that state-of-the-art statistical models and calibration techniques are applied to our consumer and mobility data. Only then we can deliver valid and useful information to our clients.

Specifically, you will work with tracking data to gain a better understand of mobility behavior in Germany, including individual vs. public transport affinity.

You will:

Create and improve methods and tools, contributing to best practices in the area of applied statistical sciences/ marketing sciences.
Deliver consistent data in all countries (standardized methods and processes), align different data sources.
Transparent use of scientific methods & valid external sources for data calibration.
Supporting research focused colleagues with data expertise.
Troubleshooting & discussions with client service and clients about data quality issues.
Gain deeper insights into the mobility sector— mastering the combination of panel research and geostatistical analysis.

You have:

Master degree in statistics or related, reflecting strong modeling and other statistical skills.
Fluent in German and English.
Knowledge in R or Python.
Familiarity with geostatistical analysis, Shiny apps and panel data structure would be an advantage.
