As a Lead Lighting Artist at Virtuos, you will be responsible for understanding client needs and preparing clear briefing materials for in-house lighting artists. You will manage communication with clients on artistic and technical matters, provide artistic supervision throughout the production process, anticipate and solve technical challenges, identify and set up best practices for lighting workflows, and work with R&D on new industry technology and trends. You will also prioritize, plan, and assign tasks to team members, manage personal development, performance, and morale, and conduct team performance evaluations.
Must have:
5+ years of professional Lighting experience in game or film industry
Experience leading a team of 5-10 Lighting artists
Experience creating and optimizing Lighting pipelines
Adaptability to various aesthetic and styles
Excellent communication skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Good to have:
Experience with AAA photorealism to stylized cartoon
Ability to balance quality and technical constraints

Qualifications

Adaptability to various aesthetic and styles ranging from AAA photorealism to stylized cartoon.
