Job Description

As a Lead Paid Marketing Manager at Hike, you'll spearhead the growth strategy for performance marketing initiatives, leading and mentoring a team. This role demands a blend of strategic and tactical expertise, with accountability for maintaining, enhancing, and executing business tactics to retain customers and improve value. Responsibilities include developing and executing performance marketing strategies across various paid channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, X Ads, Programmatic Advertising, DSPs), managing large budgets, optimizing for ROAS and efficiency, collaborating with cross-functional teams, growth hacking, A/B testing, influencer marketing, and managing relationships with external vendors. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for data-driven decision-making within the gaming and social media landscape.

As a Lead Paid Marketing Manager you will drive the growth strategy for Hike’s performance marketing initiatives while leading and mentoring a team.   • 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a strong focus on acquisition, retention, reactivation, and ROAS optimization across paid channels. | Top talent in every role

You will 📲

  • Strategy : Develop and execute performance marketing strategies focused on acquisition, retention, and reactivation to drive sustainable growth.
  • Operations: Lead and mentor a team of marketing specialists, ensuring performance-driven execution
  • Strategy : Own and optimize paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, X, and programmatic channels, ensuring high ROAS and efficiency.
  • Strategy: Build & scale data-driven campaigns to grow awareness, acquire new users, and drive engagement.
  • Leadership: Act as a key senior leader within the Growth team, driving strategic decision-making and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Leadership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Data) to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Operations: Manage and optimize reactivation campaigns to bring back lapsed users and enhance retention funnels.
  • Operations: Strategically allocate and optimize budgets across channels, continuously testing and refining for cost efficiency and impact.
  • Operations: Identify and activate influencer partnerships as part of the performance marketing mix to drive growth and engagement.
  • Operations: Oversee relationships with external agencies, ad networks, and partners to optimize marketing performance
  • Operations: Own and execute lifecycle marketing via CRM tools (CleverTap, WebEngage, MoEngage) across push, in-app, email & remarketing campaigns.

  • Analytics: Leverage data to track, evaluate, and improve marketing campaigns using real-time insights.
