Job Summary:
This QA Manager role focuses on leading the quality assurance efforts for cloud and enterprise wireless products, reporting to a senior manager based in the USA.
The manager will be responsible for building and managing a QA team in India, ensuring high quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful product releases.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, testers, and automation specialists in India and ensuring their development and performance.
• Define and implement QA test strategies, plans, and procedures for cloud and enterprise Wi-Fi products and solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for various Wi-Fi functionalities and features, including those related to end-to-end enterprise deployments and cloud integrations.
• Oversee the execution of test plans, analyze test results, identify defects, and report on test progress and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and multiple engineering groups to ensure alignment on testing requirements and quality standards.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize test execution efficiency and coverage.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Wi-Fi standards, protocols, and testing methodologies, as well as cloud computing concepts and technologies.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to Wi-Fi connectivity, performance, and security, both in manual and automated testing contexts.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in quality assurance testing, with a significant focus on Wi-Fi, cloud, and/or enterprise environments.
• At least 2 years leading a QA Team focused on enterprise applications or SaaS or PaaS.
• Thorough understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Background in UI/API automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Robot) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of Wi-Fi standards (
802.11abgn, AC, AX), protocols, and security mechanisms.
• Experience with testing Wi-Fi in enterprise environments, including access points, switches, and cloud-based Wi-Fi management solutions.
• Experience in Utilizing AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot and MCP to streamline the QA process, improve test coverage, and accelerate test development.
