Job Description

As a Market Acceleration Lead for Google Cloud, you will own and execute a Go-to-Market strategy for business solutions, including new customer acquisition and existing spender growth. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams (Go-to-Market Practice Leads, Product Engineering, Marketing, Partner, Solutions Management, and Sales) to execute this strategy. Responsibilities include developing and executing Go-to-Market strategies, fostering a knowledge-sharing community, overseeing program development and management, conducting business play analysis, and collaborating on internal engagement programs. The role requires exceeding sub-region business growth commitments through Go-to-Market solutions.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in software sales or account management at an enterprise business-to-business (B2B) software company.
  • Experience in business development related to technology solutions (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and managed services).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in exceeding strategic goals and delivering results.
  • Experience in building strategic C-level executive relationships with business and technology decision makers.
  • Ability to quickly understand technology solutions and effectively identify how it can provide value to a prospective customer.
  • Ability to operate within a dynamic and fast-growing company, and adapt to changes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with internal team members in pre and post-sales.

About the job

As a Market Acceleration Lead for Google Cloud, you will own and execute a Go-to-Market strategy for business solutions including new customer acquisition and existing spender growth. You will be responsible for executing the strategy through collaboration with a cross-functional group of solutions stakeholders, including Go-to-Market Practice Leads, Product Engineering, Marketing, Partner, Solutions Management, and Sales teams. You will prioritize and engage specialist teams aligned to the sub region to build a pipeline and drive the development of new solution initiatives with the goal of exceeding the sub region’s business growth commitment through Go-to-Market solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $182,000-$257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Go-to-Market strategy for cloud solutions, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
  • Foster a growing community, facilitating knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination among customers, partners, and Google teams.
  • Oversee program development and management, ensuring the implementation of sales initiatives related to cloud solutions.
  • Conduct business play analysis and strategic planning to identify and capitalize on opportunities for driving business growth in the market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop inspiring programs and plans that enhance internal engagement and create organizational momentum at scale.
