This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2025-June 2025.

What You Will Do:

As a Payroll Operations Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Process uploads and run off-cycle payments in SAP

  • Safeguard company assets

  • Handle emails and concerns related to pay

  • Assist with direct deposits, returned payroll checks, deductions and in office daily mail

  • Complete an end-of-internship process improvement project

  • Assist with quota report processing

Required Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Exceptional time management skills – A self-starter who is able to thrive working independently, able to prioritize a high-volume workload and learn new programs/applications quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Possess strong analytical and research skills; Needs to have a sound understanding of and enjoy working with numbers

  • Insight to and/or previous payroll experience

  • Willingness to learn, go above and beyond and be open to feedback for growth

  • Possess strong leaderships skills, takes initiative and has a desire for continuous improvement

  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to partner with various organizations and people across the company

  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information

  • Previous experience using a tracker - Excellent oral/written communication skills

  • Proficiency working in a Windows environment; Must be confident in Microsoft Office and possess very strong Word (mail merges) and Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros)

  • Passion for The Walt Disney Company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Experience

  • Payroll Training and/or Payroll Certification

  • Previous work and/or internship experience

  • GPA of 3.5 or higher

Education:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

  • Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year preferred, or a recent graduate within 6 months of graduation date

  • Major or previous coursework in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization 

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program 

Additional Information:

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025-June 2025.

  • This internship is located in the Orlando, FL area.

  • Candidate must be fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.

  • While this internship is primarily an on-site position, there could be some days where you work from home which will require a working, reliable internet connection, as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace.

  • Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, FL area

  • We provide limited housing opportunities for Florida Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities, for more information
