Capgemini is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join their team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript and Selenium with Java. Key responsibilities include collaborating with QA and development teams on test strategies, participating in code reviews, executing manual tests when required, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming concepts, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD tools, contributing to the overall quality assurance of projects.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience in Playwright automation with TypeScript/JavaScript
  • 2+ years of experience in Selenium automation with Java
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Experience in designing and maintaining automation test frameworks
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines
Good to have:
  • Experience with manual testing
  • Ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Your role

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in Playwright using TypeScript/JavaScript and Selenium with Java. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in OOP concepts, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD tools. This role involves both automation and manual testing responsibilities, contributing to the overall quality assurance strategy.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium
  • Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test strategies
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to framework enhancements
  • Execute manual tests when needed and support overall QA activities
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing

Your profile

  • 2+ years of experience in Playwright automation with TypeScript/JavaScript
  • 2+ years of experience in Selenium automation with Java
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Experience in designing and maintaining automation test frameworks
