Job Description

The Principal Account Executive, Apps at Google manages and develops client relationships, educating them on digital products and providing excellent customer service. This role drives business growth by promoting Google as a key media channel, analyzing data trends, identifying opportunities, and creating implementation plans. The successful candidate will be a Google product expert, advising clients on App Campaigns and YouTube solutions, maximizing campaign results and building strong relationships with C-suite executives. This involves understanding client needs, developing marketing strategies, and managing client accounts effectively. The role requires excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, along with a strong understanding of digital advertising and the app marketing landscape.
Must have:

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in app promotion sales, with knowledge of App Campaigns (AC).
  • Experience in the mobile gaming or music streaming industries with a focus on the app marketing engaged landscape.
  • Ability to maintain customer service and consultative engagement with C-suite.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to understand the relation between marketing spend and business results.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to create narrative and presentation.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with our clients, including educating them on digital and Google’s products. Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers.
  • Own business growth and drive the utilization of Google as the media channel for our partners.
  • Analyze data trends and client performance, identify opportunities and create implementation plans.
  • Learn and work with Google's ongoing development of advertiser products to maximize client campaign results.
  • Become a Google product expert and trusted advisor, including developing an understanding of Google App Campaigns and YouTube for performance solutions.
