M2 Animation Studio is seeking a Production Manager (Thai-English Speaker) to contribute to a CG TV Series for a top client. This role involves managing crew tasks, quality, and output, ensuring deadlines are met, and tracking production status across departments. The manager will collaborate with clients, maintain budget and schedule flexibility, and ensure adherence to workflows while keeping the team motivated and productive.
Must have:
  • Communicate with Producer to manage crew tasks, quality, and output expectations.
  • Conduct daily reviews of production status to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Track quota and output across departments.
  • Prepare and distribute production departmental reports.
  • Forecast delays, shortfalls, and propose solutions collaboratively.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand expectations and guide them on process.
  • Keep crew productive, motivated, and proud, while maintaining budget and schedule.
  • Understand and maintain budget/schedule flexibility, prioritizing quality.
  • Comprehend all project creative and production parameters.
  • Ensure coordinator notes from Director/Client reviews are clear and concise.
  • Work with Producer, CG Supervisor, Director to build and track detailed production schedules.
  • Ensure departments understand schedules and parameters, hold regular follow-up meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to approved workflow systems and procedures.
  • Set expectations for adherence to agreed processes by all staff.
  • Represent, enforce, and implement upper management instructions.
  • Report project status to Producer/Supervising Producer.
  • Oversee tracking and recording of production materials.
  • Check all delivered work for clarity, cleanliness, and correctness.
  • Treat all crew with respect, deliver instructions politely and professionally.
  • Inspire and challenge self and crew to exceed expectations.

Job Details

Our 350+ M2 family is a wealth of multicultural talents and consists of more than 20 nationalities from all over the world. Our range covers from storytelling to design, from modeling to texturing, from camera layout to animation and lighting, and from effects to color grading. Right now, we are looking for a candidate to contribute on a CG TV Series for a top client. Our teams produce a variety of series-format animation: Tween, 2D, preschool etc. This position is for a candidate who already lives in Thailand.

Job Description Overview:

  • Communicates with Producer to manage and align expectations including crew tasks, quality, and crew output.
  • Daily reviews of production status in all departments to ensure deadlines are being met.
  • Tracks quota and output from one department to the next.
  • Prepares and distributes production departmental reports.
  • Forecast delays and shortfalls early and bring solutions forward in a collaborative environment.
  • Collaborates with the Client to understand their expectations and help them fill in the gap where they lack experience and knowledge of the process.
  • Keeps the crew productive, motivated, and proud of their work, while maintaining the budget and schedule.
  • Understands and maintains the flexibility that budgets and schedules can have during the creative process, keeping quality as the top priority.
  • Comprehends everything about the project you are managing including creative and production parameters.
  • Ensures notes taken by coordinators during Director/Client approval reviews including design, asset, animation, LRC are clear and concise.
  • Work with Producer, CG Supervisor, & Director to build and track a detailed production schedule that is accurate, detailed and meticulously planned.
  • Ensure all departments understand the schedule and parameters, and set regular meetings ensure departments are following it.
  • Ensure everyone is following the approved “System” of workflow and procedures.
  • Set expectations that Producers, Directors, other Coordinators, Supervisors and Artists follow “the agreed processes”.
  • Represent, enforce, and implement instructions from upper management.
  • Report project status to Producer and/or Supervising Producer.
  • Oversees production materials to ensure they are tracked and recorded.
  • Check all work that you deliver, to make sure it is clear, clean and correct.
  • Treat all members of the crew with equal respect and deliver instructions in a polite and professional manner.
  • Inspire and challenge yourself and the Crew to exceed expectations!
