Join CD PROJEKT RED and be part of the development of multiple projects. We're looking for a Senior / Specialist QA Engineer to serve as a link between development and quality assurance. This is an opportunity to join at the early stages of highly innovative games and play a pivotal role in ensuring their quality and stability. As one of the dedicated QA Engineers across multiple projects, you'll contribute to shaping and enhancing the automated testing strategy, building on existing foundations.

You will be joining the Automation Framework team, which improves the development experience for all development teams. Examples include creating and maintaining automation test frameworks, building test data reports, and managing test automation pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Work within the Automation Framework Team, which develops testing frameworks and ensures their efficient integration and deployment.
• Contribute to the development of a robust reporting system for automated test insights. 
• Proactively monitor automated test pipelines, ensuring identification and resolution of build failures
• Collaborate with Tech, Art, QA, and DevOps teams, as well as central development services on a daily basis.
• Participate in the code review process.
• Participate in all parts of the Agile development cycle.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably within the gaming industry.
• Fluent in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript) and one or more statically typed languages (e.g., C++, C#).
• Extensive experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks for Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine gameplay framework and working with blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and debug complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Very good command of English (spoken and written).

Nice to haves:

• Experience shipping an Unreal Engine-based game for Xbox or PlayStation consoles.
• Experience working with highly multi-threaded code systems and/or engines.
• Experience with automation frameworks from other game engines or non-game related software projects.
• Experience with data query tools, such as SQL or similar.
• Experience with web development tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with containerization and cloud technologies (e.g., Docker, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
• Experience with product development software (e.g., Jira)

• Office/Hybrid/Remote (remote job possible only +/- 3h of the Warsaw time zone).
