We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Business Analyst / Application Support Specialist to join our team. This role supports the continuous enhancement and efficient operation of GTC, GREAT4GP, and Riskonnect platforms. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping translate business needs into effective solutions while also addressing systemic issues through technical acumen. This position involves hands-on scripting, data manipulation, documentation, testing, and stakeholder engagement across the software lifecycle.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and functional requirements.
Translate business needs into actionable functional and non-functional system requirements.
Analyze recurring support tickets to identify root causes and systemic issues.
Propose and support the development of technical solutions using Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
Ensure solutions align with existing system architecture and are technically feasible.
Develop and execute test cases; support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and conduct training sessions.
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for GTC, GREAT4GP, and Riskonnect applications.
Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders and technical teams.
Troubleshoot frontend (UI/browser-related) and backend (logic/database/integration) issues.
Provide resolution and root cause analysis for escalated support issues.
Maintain and update comprehensive technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
Participate in version control and deployment processes via GitHub.
Support automation, scripting, and system maintenance using shell scripts and CMD commands.
Leverage MS Excel for reporting, data analysis, and structured data preparation.
Must have
Python: Strong scripting skills for automation, backend support, and data manipulation.
JavaScript: Proficient in frontend debugging and UI scripting.
SQL: Expertise in database querying, data analysis, and reporting.
Business Analysis: Ability to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Testing and UAT: Experience writing and executing test cases, and supporting end-user testing.
Application Support: Proven capability in troubleshooting both frontend and backend issues.
Documentation: Skilled in producing clear user guides, technical documentation, and training materials.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
System Troubleshooting: In-depth problem diagnosis across integrated application components.
Nice to have
Shell Scripting / CMD Commands: For system operations, automation, and batch processing.
GitHub: Experience with version control systems, code review processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
MS Excel Advanced Features: Proficiency with pivot tables, formulas, macros, and data visualization.
Knowledge of Riskonnect, GTC, or GREAT4GP platforms: Direct experience or familiarity with these systems is a strong advantage.
Agile/Scrum Methodologies: Experience working in agile environments and participating in sprint planning or stand-ups.
