Job Description
Responsibilities
- Conduct business development-related tasks including identifying fund companies and individuals as relevant potential customers, as well as cold prospect outreach
- Help planning and implementing client events and meetings
- Help tracking relevant industry headlines and news in the alternative investment community to help identity new business opportunities
- Regular invoice and payment tracking, handling billing issues with clients and internal finance team
- Running, collating and de-duplicating contact lists from internal CRM system & third-party directory databases
- Maintaining most updated client records in internal CRM system
- Collections – liaising with internal accounts receivables team and clients on open/overdue invoices
- Sending service extension reminders and usage updates to clients
- Help preparing product decks, proposals and contracts utilizing internal systems
- Liaise with both clients and internal legal team to facilitate during the contract drafting process
- Translate client-facing materials from English to simplified Chinese
- Interacting with contacts and information of sensitive, complex, and sometimes confidential nature both inside and outside of the company, requiring exceptional judgment and discretion
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent qualification required
- Minimum 3 years of strong business administration, marketing coordination and research experience; sales experience in financial sector preferred
- Familiar with up-to-date prospecting and research tools and techniques
- Basic understanding on social selling techniques, e.g. ability to demonstrate effective communications on LinkedIn and WeChat
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, remain organized while achieving tight deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Good levels of responsiveness and customer awareness
- Good personal organization and discipline with good follow through
- Knowledge of general office practice and business etiquette
- Experience in a professional sales environment preferred
- Good judgment, able to handle confidential information
- IT and internet savvy
- Professional competency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
