Job Description

This Senior Account Strategist role focuses on growing Google's mid-market business in China. Responsibilities include developing Chinese customer business through scaled product adoption, prioritizing outstanding customer experience for agencies and advertisers, improving agency/customer relationships, achieving business growth and productivity goals, and providing consultative advice to advertisers on maximizing ROI. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, consultative business, or related fields, including at least 2 years managing Chinese enterprise clients. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
Must have:

  • Google Ads knowledge (preferred)

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative business, digital media business, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing.
  • 2 years of experience in managing Chinese enterprise clients, agencies, or customers.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support local clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in business within the technology, advertising, media or internet environments.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Ability to grow and work in a changing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Chinese customer’s business by motivating scaled product adoption and growth.
  • Work towards goals while prioritizing and delivering outstanding customer experience to Google's agencies and advertisers.
  • Implement ways to improve our agency and customer relationships and share performance enhancing suggestions.
  • Carry business growth and productivity goals, and motivate in-quarter business growth and product adoptions.
  • Provide advice and help our advertisers get the best investment return on their advertising by working in a consultative role with Executive Account Strategist.
