Netflix is one of the world’s leading entertainment services with 278 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.
The Role
Netflix derives a significant competitive advantage from the analytical approach it takes to managing all aspects of the business. As we continue to push for growth and retention in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region, we are looking for an Associate to join our Partnerships Finance & Strategy team. This role will be focused on conducting regional and global partnership analyses and projects and analyzing partnership opportunities with local operators throughout the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) subregion.
Partnerships are a critical driver of growth for Netflix. The most common types of partnerships with local operators are bundles, followed by set-top box integrations. These impact millions of members, and our analyses play a critical role in the assessment and ongoing strategy for those partnerships in the region. During negotiations, we provide guidance to the Business Development team using data and analysis. When partnerships are launched, we monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Finally, we work closely with our counterparts in other regions, as well as partner functions like Consumer Insights and Data Science, to conduct broad analyses to support strategy development and execution across the partnerships function to increase the impact of our partnerships.
This role will be based in Amsterdam and report to the EMEA Manager of Partnerships, Finance & Strategy. It will include travel to meet with partners in the CEE region and visit other Netflix offices (in EMEA as well as North America).
