Job Description

Tencent Cloud is seeking a Business Development Intern to support its Thailand market growth in Shenzhen. Responsibilities include market research, customer insight analysis, client identification and outreach, assisting sales managers with data gathering and solution fitting, managing sales pipelines and CRM, collaborating with marketing for campaigns, and crafting product pitches. The ideal candidate is a final-year undergraduate or graduate student (Business, Technology, or related fields) with strong communication, analytical, and self-driven skills. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, Thai, and English is required. High-performing interns may be offered a full-time role in the Thailand office. This 6-month, full-time internship offers valuable experience in the cloud services industry and the fast-growing Thai digital economy.

What the Role Entails

Position Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Intern to join our team in Shenzhen, supporting business growth efforts for the Thailand market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the cloud services industry, working alongside experienced sales leaders to understand customer needs, build go-to-market strategies, and drive engagement in one of the region’s fastest-growing digital economies. For high-performing interns, this internship can lead to a full-time role in our Thailand office.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analyze customer insights related to Thailand’s cloud and digital transformation landscape.
  • Identify and connect with potential clients through various prospecting and outreach methods.
  • Support sales managers by gathering customer IT infrastructure data and exploring solution-fit opportunities.
  • Help maintain and organize sales pipelines, CRM records, and lead databases.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to support outbound campaigns and localized sales activities.
  • Assist in crafting product pitches tailored to the Thailand market by gaining a strong understanding of Tencent Cloud’s offerings.

Who We Look For

  • Final-year undergraduate or graduate student, preferably with a background in Business, Technology, or related fields, and a strong desire to build a career in cloud solutions or B2B tech sales.
  • Able to commit to a 6-month full-time internship in Shenzhen.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an analytical and self-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in Chinese Mandarin, Thai and English is required.
  • Motivated, adaptable, and eager to contribute to Tencent Cloud’s business development efforts in Thailand.
