As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
JOB PURPOSE
Support to the Audit Partners and Managers on the execution of various projects across the NER Assurance Practice,
Responsible for managing the Talent Link Portfolio in NER
NER Region’s SAICA management with SAICA rep
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Social Club Events:
Confirm time, dates, ideas and agenda with People Partner.
Arrange for food, drink and draft the agenda where needed.
Events to be arranged via the Spar Account:
Cake for birthdays (when the staff member is in the office
Monthly cocktail functions
Monthly Birthday Functions:
Confirm with People Partner a week before the last Friday of the month whether the monthly birthday function will continue
Remind staff to respond to the google invite.
Request discussion topics from managers and partners and draft the agenda (including birthdays, upcoming exams and past exams).
Arrange drinks and snacks from the Spar account based on the attendees per the google invite and get the slip signed by People Partner.
Social Club Payments:
Nedbank Payments of Invoices approved by the social club.
Yearly IRBA submissions
6 monthly Partner AQI Workload
Ipad Management:
Obtain signed employee declaration (as and when the Ipad is requested via email)
Complete details on tracking sheet
Send calendar invite for Ipad
Issue and collect Ipad
Salesforce Monthly Progress Updates
Maintain Partner and Manager meeting Agenda
Download Retain: Once a month and save for back up
TalentLink/Retain Update - (Stock counts / leave updates)
Audit Leave approval: Consider staff leave requests (do they have manager approval, do they have enough leave available, is it in line with the company policy) and update the planning
Utilization Reporting for the region
Health & Safety: Training Planned as and when required
Business Continuance Management: Attend training and keep BCM documents updated on a continuous basis
Submit the plan to People Partner for signature on a 6 monthly basis and upload and sign off on Archer
Implement IMT rehearsals when required by HQ
Complete HQ questionnaires as and when they are due (generator questions, building assessments, evacuation drills etc).
Share flash alerts when they are applicable to the region
Accounting Engagement Letter Review
Accounting Salesforce Opportunities:
Obtain the necessary information from the manager/partner by completing the applicable sheet:
Request that admin Create the opportunity and mark in stage 3
Allow the team to complete the CA and EA, once approved - ask admin to mark the opportunity as won.
Proceed to Easy Engage to request the job code.
Easy Engage: Request code for an opportunity that is marked as won.
Project Code Review: Review for exceptions.
Creation of Authorization for Services
Upload new clients into Salesforce
Marketing Events: Manage marketing events in the region
Company Car Log Assessment: Assess Car Logs every first Monday of each month
Company Car Billing: Oversee the logs provided by the administrator to finance
L&D: Oversee target lists, proactive monitoring, non-compliance and approve training plans and expenses
CSI Events: Implement the projects communicated by HQ for Witbank and communicate with Nelspruit Social club to ensure they do the same.
AG Submissions: Assist Partner with AG Documents, target training and availability of staff
SAICA: Assist with SAICA admin
Office Maintenance: Ensure that all maintenance is managed (i.e lights, door, coffee machine, plugs, fridge, cleaning and sanitizing etc.)
Wellbeing: Attend wellbeing calls, assist with Wellbeing initiatives in the region
Lunch: Manage lunch invoices with Office support staff
Manage small client engagements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BCom
EXPERIENCE
Five years of relevant experience
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
KEY KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Good understanding of business practices
Project management skills, self managing and delivers timely
Global acumen and relationship management
Proactive in identifying opportunities, resourceful and resilient
Strong data analytics skills and experience with survey tools, Excel, Power BI and Alteryx
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous, complex and uncertain situations
Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges
Proven track record in a similar role
