Job Description & Summary

These individuals offer guidance and support to help clients optimise their workforce, enhance employee engagement, and drive organisational effectiveness.

Those in organisational design at PwC, you will focus on optimising the structure and processes for businesses to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will help clients align their organisational structure with their strategic goals for long-term success.

What you’ll create and do  

 

As a member of the HR of the Future team, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

 

Engagement Delivery 
 

  • Working directly with our clients to support engagement delivery - from project scoping to conclusion, while consistently keeping the client’s goals in mind; 

  • Work with other talented PwC professionals on high-profile engagements, you will have diverse and challenging opportunities to bring your expertise to and to lead in the different areas of HR such as HR Strategy, HR Organization Design, HR Function Effectiveness and Design, Job Architecture, HR Process Design, HR Technology Roadmap and Mobilization (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Payroll, etc.), Workforce Planning, People Analytics & Insights, and Integrated Talent Management; 

  • Demonstrating ownership through the delivery of specific workstreams on projects supported by high quality work and client service; 

  • Developing new relationships with clients and building collaborative relationships with the team; 

  • Bringing your true self to projects to create values based on diverse teams that can adapt to a variety of working styles; 

  • Approaching new projects with an open mind;  

  • Working with data to transform information into actionable insights 

  • Analyzing large data sets to aid current state assessment, translating them into smaller and simpler pieces and building a range of meaningful recommendations; 

  • Communicating complex information effectively in written and verbal formats to various situations and audiences; and 

  • Learning from mistakes and asking for help when needed. 

 

PwC Internal Delivery 

  • Keep up to date with developments in HR; 

  • Contribute to pursuit teams and proposal development, including innovative approaches and methodologies; 

  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership for the HR of the Future community, nationally and globally as part of our network; 

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand. 

 

What you’ll bring to this role:  

 

  • Genuinely passionate about helping organizations transform how they work and generate value 

  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work; 

  • Will to work in a fast-paced environment with sometimes unpredictable circumstances or changes; comfortable working in ambiguity; 

  • Self-motivated with a passion for client work and teamwork; 

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, demonstrates excellent interpersonal and strong facilitation skills; 

  • Commitment to valuing differences and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard; 

  • Able to develop and present new, innovative ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions; 

  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, MBA or comparable experience; 

  • Prior professional services experience is an asset 

  • Proficiency in English. French would be a bonus.
