Summary
As the Senior Director of Digital Marketing and Operations, you will collaborate with the CMO and Vice President of Global Marketing to lead our digital marketing initiatives (strategy through to PPC, SEO, and more), manage our website and social properties, and lead our marketing operations to drive efficiency, scale, and continuous improvement of all marketing campaigns and activities. This hybrid role combines strategic leadership with operational oversight, ensuring the seamless execution, tracking and optimization of marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support revenue growth across all lines of business in both the gaming and digital experience industries.
Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with GlobalStep’s business objectives. Oversee all digital marketing channels, including website, blogs, emails, and social media, ensuring brand consistency and effective audience engagement.
- Stay abreast of competitive digital efforts along with emerging digital trends and technologies to ensure GlobalStep leverages emerging digital technologies and trends for continuous improvement of the digital customer experience.
Campaign Management
- Partner with VP Global Marketing to plan, integrate, execute, and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop, implement, and evaluate promotional activities.
- Build and manage the marketing and sales tech stacks to leverage automation, real-time reporting and analysis and detailed success tracking
- Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to optimize campaigns for exceeding KPIs
Website and Social Media
- Lead the activation of our brand refresh across all websites and social properties to ensure consistency of brand and a frictionless customer experience across all touchpoints
- Build and manage team to engage customers, prospects and all stakeholders across the company’s social channels.
Marketing Operations and Technology Stack Management
- Design and implement processes and workflows that enable marketing teams to execute their daily tasks efficiently. Curate and integrate the best applications and technologies to support each step in the process.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of marketing technologies, including marketing automation platforms and CRM systems. Ensure seamless integration and optimal utilization of these tools to enhance marketing efficiency.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to measure ROI and KPIs. Provide regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and maximizing ROI
- Analyze paid and organic campaign performance metrics to inform data-driven decision-making.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of digital marketing, web development, project management and marketing operations professionals. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging the adoption of best practices and innovative approaches.
Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years in digital marketing and strategy roles (prior director-level experience required), with a proven track record of driving growth in B2B industries.
- Strategic Vision: Exceptional ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies.
- Analytical Acumen: Expertise in leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure marketing effectiveness.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and develop talent. Specific experience managing a diverse team of digital marketers, including experts in paid search, SEO, and SEM as well as digital agencies is a requirement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA a plus.
General Technical Skills
- Knowledge of and familiarity with CRM lead management and related digital tools (such as Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HootSuite, and leading email marketing platforms).
- Deep experience with the leading digital and social marketing platforms (such as Google and LinkedIn). Including familiarity with advertising technology platforms (such as Google Ads and AdRoll).
- Certifications: Certification in Google Analytics.
