Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager for Promoted Stores Ads, you will be responsible for the roadmap, understanding seller and buyer needs, and aligning with eBay's strategic direction. You will drive optimization of campaign management, provide guidance to sellers, and define new reporting and optimization capabilities. Collaborating with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to develop and launch new features is also part of the role. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including working closely with sellers and buyers to understand their needs, optimizing campaign management reporting, and defining new seller-facing Promoted Stores reporting and optimization capabilities.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in retail media.
  • Experience developing and launching customer-facing features.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well with various technical people.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of the digital advertising and e-commerce ecosystems.
  • Experience with CPC or CPM advertising products.
  • BS or MS Degree in a technical field.
  • MBA

Senior Product Manager, Promoted Stores Ads

eBay Ads is a multidisciplinary craft, involving a wide variety of on-site and off-site advertisers, merchants, content, promotions, and products. Within eBay Ads, Promoted Stores enables eBay sellers to reach buyers at different points of their shopping journey, and engage them to visit their stores, coupons and other offerings. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the roadmap for Promoted Stores Ads Campaign Management

  • Work closely with sellers and seller research to understand their priorities and needs.

  • Work closely with buyer research to understand eBay’s buyer experience. 

  • Work closely with eBay leadership and internal teams to understand our strategic direction and ads portfolio. 

  • Drive the optimization of Promoted Stores campaign management reporting and optimization in alignment with its value proposition. 

  • Work with applied research scientists to provide campaign management guidance to our sellers. 

  • Define with the design team new seller-facing Promoted Stores reporting and optimization capabilities. 

  • Partner with engineering and go-to-market teams to develop and launch this new capabilities. 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in retail media networks sponsored/promoted advertising. 

  • Track record of developing and launching new customer-facing features.

  • Demonstrable complex and creative problem solving to meet goals.

  • Proven impact on delivering value to customers.

  • Ability to work well with a variety of people ranging across technical levels.

  • Outstanding verbal and communication skills, including effective communication with senior leadership. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the digital advertising and e-commerce ecosystems

  • Experience and familiarity with CPC or CPM advertising products.

  • BS or MS Degree in a technical field.

  • MBA
