Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 5 years of experience in Networking
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting).
- 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, business finance, and other stakeholders.
- 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
- 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
- 3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership.

The ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs, implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search, YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. Our end users are Googlers, Cloud customers and the billions of people who use Google services around the world.
We prioritize security, efficiency, and reliability across everything we do - from developing our latest TPUs to running a global network, while driving towards shaping the future of hyperscale computing. Our global impact spans software and hardware, including Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, the leading AI platform for bringing Gemini models to enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Craft a Platform storage product-line goals and roadmap that aligns with market opportunities and company goals. Lead the development of business cases for new product initiatives.
- Understand customer pain points, use cases, and the engaged landscape in Storage. Conduct market research, engaged analysis, and collaborate with engineering teams to gather insights.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements definition to launch, iteration, and end-of-life.
- Partner with Google engineering and support to define product requirements, create Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, and ensure successful product launches.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Analyze data to identify optimization opportunities and inform decision-making.
