Senior React Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for a strong Senior React Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Frontend development within startup environments, exceptional communication skills, and enthusiastic about leveraging AI tools to supercharge the development lifecycle. You will work closely with product and design teams to build intuitive, high-performance user interfaces and contribute to the technical vision of the frontend stack. This is a fast-paced job with room for significant career growth. 

Please note: you must have at least 8+ years of experience as a React Engineer to be considered for this role. Experience with AI tools and exposure to start-up environments will be a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced frontend applications using React, delivering smooth, scalable, and accessible user experiences.

• Integrate and experiment with AI development tools to boost productivity and code quality.

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to define, design, and ship new features.

• Participate in technical architecture discussions and help shape the direction of the frontend stack.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

• Own features end-to-end, from technical design through deployment and monitoring.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.

• 8+ years of frontend development experience, with deep expertise in React.js and its ecosystem (Hooks, Context, State Management, etc.).

• Demonstrated success working in startup or fast-paced environments, with strong product ownership.

• Experience using or integrating AI-powered development tools into your engineering workflow.

• Solid understanding of modern web development best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and collaborating with backend teams to integrate services seamlessly.

• Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, or GraphQL.

• Exposure to CI/CD tools and modern DevOps workflows.

• Previous experience working with design systems or creating component libraries.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Initiative and drive to do great things.
