The Senior Sales Account Executive will build relationships within the NYC advertising agency landscape and focus on generating demand for Digital Media Sales. Responsibilities include cultivating and building relationships with strategic investment partners, overseeing existing high-value partnerships, ensuring mutual success, and managing business and technical escalations. The ideal candidate will also communicate requirements to all stakeholders, both internal and external.
Must have:
  • 6+ years of media experience in an ad agency partnership or direct media sales capacity
  • Strong relationships throughout the New York market
  • Working knowledge of programmatic execution and understanding of technology
  • Demonstrated experience in sales-focused or partnership role selling through agencies
  • Ability to articulate complex requirements to achieve results
  • Comfortable building and managing relationships across business stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience working through cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding client and revenue expectations

Reports to: Agency Partnership Lead

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Your Role Within the Kingdom                      

Activision Blizzard is scaling its advertising business, Activision Blizzard Media, an embedded business unit of King—the makers of the #1 mobile game, Candy Crush Saga, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard.                           

                              

ABM is seeking a passionate, innovative, and broad-thinking Senior Sales Account Executive to work on an agency team and help take our media offering to the next level.          

                                       

This is an opportunity for you to share our story in the market and build relationships within the NYC advertising agency holding company landscape. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Sales Account Executive with previous experience of working within Media and/or Ad Technology, generating demand for Digital Media Sales.  A focus on Omnicom, Dentsu, or Horizon is preferred, but not required.

Responsiblities

  • Cultivate and build relationships with strategic investment partners at agency holding companies and clients.

  • Oversee several existing high-value partnerships with support from sales management.

  • Ensure mutual success between customer and Activision Blizzard Media, while maximizing the potential from the relationshi.p

  • Manage business and technical escalations and continually communicate requirements to all stakeholders, internal and external.

Skills to create thrills

  • 6+ years of media experience in an ad agency partnership or direct media sales capacity

  • Strong relationships throughout the New York market (focus on Omnicom / Dentsu / Horizon, preferred but not required)

  • Working knowledge of programmatic execution and understanding of technology e.g.. Google Ad Manager, video/mobile media products, audience targeting and the programmatic landscape

  • Demonstrated experience in sales-focused or partnership role selling through agencies

  • Ability to articulate complex requirements to achieve results

  • Comfortable building and managing relationships across business stakeholders, internal and external

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience working through cross functional teams

  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding client and revenue expectations
