Who We Are Looking For:
Molex is seeking a dynamic Software test team supervisor to be part of our strong Engineering Team to manage the software test team and own the quality deliverables from the team. You will be a part of our cross functional team and collaborate internationally with our product teams.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors or master’s in Engineering in the field of Electrical / Electronics & Communications Engineering or Computer science or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the embedded product testing with 2+ years in leading the team preferably in Automotive domain
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building and managing the software test team to perform the software testing activities for the consumer connectivity devices in the Automotive products
- Team building, resource and budget planning and management
- Manage the team by assigning tasks, setting priorities, monitoring progress, providing guidance, support and training
- Define the RREs, handle performance review, help the team to improve their skills and productivity.
- Collaborate with the global team in handling the projects, work packages, reports for the team
- Manage and Support the team on Software Testing activities like Define the test strategy, setting up test framework/test environment, understand product specifications clearly, test case generation, test design techniques, Test Procedures (Scripting), test execution, automation, reporting, defect tracking, support functions
- Ensure Software Quality Assurance - compliance with the processes, standards, and guidelines (ASPICE etc)
- Hardware and software-based issue analysis in existing frameworks
- Experience with build environments and tools - make file, cmake, Davinci, EB tresos, Autosar Builder, Polarion, GIT, Vectorcast, Canoe, CAPL, Robot Framework
- Evaluation of test tools
- Work with 3rd party vendors
What You Will Need:
Required:
- Good domain knowledge and experience in testing of embedded automotive systems
- Experience in leading a team of minimum 5 members
- Strong leadership with good communication skills
- Practical Experience in Agile Software Development and ASPICE process
- Good understanding and expertise on white box system testing (Unit testing/Integration testing/ Qualification testing)
- Knowledge on Automotive and communication protocols ( CAN, UDS, AUTOSAR, I2C, SPI, UART, USB, TCP/UDP and Memory)
- Knowledge inToolchain (z.B. CANoe, DaVinci, EB-Tresos) and Debugger as Lauterbach, iSYSTEM)
- Experience in development and management tools like Canoe, VectorCast, Canalyser, AUTOSAR based tools, Trace32, Polarion, GIT
- Experience in test automation and scripts – CAPL, Python, Robot Framework
- Best Know How in working with integrated development environments, debugger, configuration management and build environments
- Customer focus, Tool and process-oriented, with a passion to deal with complex problems
- Be open minded, structured, independent in a development-oriented team of engineers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills written, verbal and presentation
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as multimeter and oscilloscopes
- Goal oriented, structured, diligent and independent work ethic
- The ability to work with cross functional, multiregional, internal and external teams that can have different priorities.
- Ability to make decisions with minimal supervision and limited information.
Preferred:
- ISTQB certification or similar
- Competent in usage of tools like POLARION, DOORS, GIT, SVN
- Good knowledge of automotive development processes including V-Modell, and agile methods
- Knowledge in wireless charging technology according to the Qi standard or automotive application of USB technology are beneficial
- Experience in Perl or Python scripting
