Job Description

As the Staff Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of innovation in application security within Snyk Code. Your role involves leading the evolution of Snyk Code, setting the product strategy, and driving its execution. You will collaborate with various teams, including Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing, to bring your vision to life. Responsibilities include refining product strategy, conducting market analysis, showcasing solutions to customers, and leading strategic product initiatives. You will also mentor other Product Managers and champion the adoption of new technologies.
Must have:
  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in DevOps or security.
  • Deep knowledge of product management methodologies and processes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to analyze market trends to inform product strategy.

Our Opportunity

Imagine being at the forefront of innovation, where you'll architect and drive the next generation of application security within Snyk Code. As our Staff Product Manager, you'll be leading the evolution of Snyk Code, serving as the visionary, strategist, and driving force behind our product investments. This isn't just another product role—it's a chance to leave a lasting mark on the world of application security. You'll be at the helm of complex and high-impact initiatives, directly influencing the security posture of countless developers and organizations. You'll collaborate across teams, inspire innovation, and see your vision come to life, delivering tangible and measurable results that truly matter.

Additionally, you will refine and own the Snyk Code product strategy, building compelling business cases based on business and revenue opportunities. This includes evaluating how new features enable expansion within our current customer base and market segments, as well as identifying and meeting the needs of new market segments through differentiated offerings.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Becoming the go-to expert in application security within the software development domain, particularly in the context of SAST.
  • Partnering with senior leaders to chart the ambitious long-term course for Snyk Code, setting the stage for groundbreaking advancements.
  • Fueling the engine of innovation, driving the execution of our product strategy and ensuring seamless alignment across the organization to bring your vision to reality.
  • Showcasing the magic of Snyk Code to our most strategic customers and prospects, captivating them with the power and potential of our security solutions.
  • Deep diving into user insights and data to uncover exciting new frontiers for Snyk Code features and enhancements.
  • Spearheading strategic product initiatives, collaborating with brilliant minds across Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing to bring your boldest ideas to fruition.
  • Elevating Snyk's thought leadership by engaging with industry analysts, the press, and fellow experts, sharing our cutting-edge advancements.
  • Becoming a mentor and inspiration to other Product Managers, fostering a strong product mindset and contributing to a culture of innovation within the PM team.
  • Championing the adoption of the latest and greatest technologies, ensuring Snyk remains at the technological forefront.
  • Being the decisive voice in shaping the future of Snyk Code, driving alignment and buy-in across diverse stakeholders.
  • Engaging in dynamic technical discussions with our talented Engineering and Data Science teams, exploring the most innovative approaches to evolve our product with a keen eye on business impact.

What You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with some experience in the DevOps or security space, and a demonstrable track record of leading and delivering compelling features or products.
  • Deeply knowledgeable of product management methodologies and processes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, able to present complex concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A proven ability to spark positive change and influence outcomes beyond your immediate scope.
  • Ability to analyze market trends to inform the Snyk Code product strategy and ensure a competitive advantage.
