The Strategic Initiatives Senior Manager at Google Cloud will be part of the Global Go to Market (GTM) Strategy and Strategic Initiatives team. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to set and update the GTM strategy, defining investment areas (headcount and infrastructure), executing initiatives to optimize the organization, analyzing financial viability of solutions and markets, and studying market trends to identify growth opportunities. This role requires strong business leadership, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will partner with Google Cloud's executive leadership and build strong relationships.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategy/consulting or corporate strategy
- GTM strategy in tech industry experience
- Cross-functional team and stakeholder management
- Fluent English communication
Good to have:
- MBA
- Process management certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma)
- Excellent business leadership and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and slide design skills

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in strategy/management consulting or corporate strategy with business or Go to Market (GTM) strategy in the technical industry.
- Experience in spreadsheets and presentation tools (e.g., Slides).
- Experience in program or project management with managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently as this role requires interaction with global teams in English.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration.
- Certification in process management and optimization (e.g., lean six sigma black belt).
- Excellent business leadership and distinctive problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver business implications and actions from data.
- Excellent project management skills in leading initiatives in a changing environment.
- Excellent communication, storytelling and slide designing skills.

You will help define our overall go-to-market strategy, propose where we make investments, lead initiatives/programs, analyze the financial viability of different decision-making options, and study the market to ensure we stay ahead of macroeconomic trends and participants. You will be a partner of the executive leadership of Google Cloud and will build relationships of mutual trust.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities
- Collaborate across several cross-functional Google teams in order to set and update the overall GTM strategy for Google Cloud.
- Work with the leadership team to define where we make investments in terms of headcount and infrastructure.
- Execute initiatives to set up and optimize organization and its operating model to drive significant growth of the business.
- Drill into the financial viability of our business to understand the relative profitability of solutions, markets, and verticals in order to enhance the Profit and Loss of the business.
- Study the macroeconomic and engaging trends in the market to understand new initiatives we can undertake to accelerate our growth.
