As a Technical Program Manager III at Google Cloud AI, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from initiation to completion. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to define program goals, prioritize deliverables, and manage project plans. You will monitor key metrics, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions. You'll need to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, explain analyses to executives, and discuss technical trade-offs with developers. The role requires experience in software development, AI/ML product development, and managing cross-functional projects. You will also be responsible for identifying future opportunities, improving processes, and driving the technical direction of your programs, leading software development projects, and influencing teams across the software development lifecycle.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years program management experience
- Software development and program execution experience
- AI/ML product development experience
- Cross-functional project management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to have:
- Experience with release management
- Data analytics and API management experience
- GCP or cloud technologies experience
- Experience with project milestones

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience in developing products related to Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Cloud technologies in executing product launches or go-to-market processes.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
- Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders’ needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
- Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs.
- Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
- Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
