Job Description

The VP of Marketing will lead and scale the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, brand positioning, and growth engine for both sales-led and product-led motions. Responsibilities include defining and driving the company-wide marketing strategy, building and leading a marketing team, shaping the brand narrative and positioning, owning the GTM strategy and execution, developing demand generation programs, building programs for developer acquisition and community engagement, partnering with the Product team for product launches, creating content strategies, and establishing key metrics and reporting dashboards. The role requires a strategic thinker to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Must have:
  • 10+ years of marketing leadership experience in B2B SaaS companies.
  • Strong background in product marketing and positioning in technical markets.
  • Hands-on experience with product-led growth and free-to-paid conversion.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills; able to translate complex tech.
Good to have:
  • Track record in developer marketing and building technical communities is a plus.

We’re looking for a high-impact VP of Marketing to lead and scale our go-to-market (GTM) strategy, brand positioning, and growth engine across both sales-led and product-led (PLG) motions. You’ll bring deep experience from high-growth B2B SaaS companies and a passion for storytelling, positioning, and digital execution.This is not a maintenance role — we’re seeking a builder and strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to scale a marketing function from early traction to repeatable growth.


Responsibilities:
  • Define and drive company-wide marketing strategy, tightly aligned with business objectives and revenue goals
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, across product marketing, demand generation, developer marketing, digital, and brand
  • Shape our brand narrative and positioning, partnering with Product and Sales to elevate how we tell our story to the world
  • Own the GTM strategy and execution for both sales-assisted and self-serve/freemium funnels
  • Develop full-funnel demand generation programs, from awareness to conversion and retention
  • Build out programs for developer acquisition and community engagement, especially around VisionAgent
  • Partner closely with the Product team to execute product launches, pricing/packaging, and product-led growth initiatives
  • Create content strategies that educate, convert, and retain across multiple personas (e.g., developers, manufacturing leaders)
  • Establish key metrics and reporting dashboards to track pipeline, attribution, CAC/LTV, conversion, and channel performance
  • Own and manage the marketing budget and marketing technology stack


Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 10+ years of marketing leadership experience, including experience as a VP/CMO in B2B SaaS companies
  • Proven ability to build a marketing function from scratch or scale it significantly in a high-growth environment
  • Strong background in product marketing and positioning in technical and/or developer-facing markets
  • Hands-on experience with product-led growth and free-to-paid conversion
  • Track record in developer marketing and building technical communities is a plus
  • Highly data-driven, with experience optimizing marketing investments for ROI, CAC/LTV, pipeline contribution
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills; able to translate complex tech into crisp, compelling narratives
  • Experience launching and scaling modern demand gen programs, using SEO, paid media, content, and email
  • Knowledge of marketing and sales tools such as Hubspot, SFDC, Pendo, Outreach, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
  • High EQ leader who is collaborative, adaptable, and thrives in ambiguity
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred

$200 - $250 a year
