Associate, Cost Strategy & Enablement

The Corporate FP&A team at Netflix is responsible for company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis. We support Finance leadership across the company and play a key role in helping drive decisions and enabling the business to grow optimally. Our team interacts with many parts of the company and helps connect the dots between business and finance.

We’re looking for an Associate to support Netflix's Cost Strategy & enablement team. A successful candidate possesses exceptional analytic and communication skills, is not afraid to be innovative, and can see the bigger picture amidst the details. This position is based in either our Hollywood (preferred) or Los Gatos office and will report to the Senior Manager, FP&A, Cost Strategy, and Enablement.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in identifying and capturing cost-efficiency opportunities across the company. This includes mining/analyzing large datasets and partnering with cross-functional colleagues to understand cost drivers and optimal ways of working.

• Help identify and drive agreed-upon process improvements through close collaboration with peers and business owners.

• Support P&L analyses and subsequent reviews with relevant stakeholders to align on potential opportunities.

• Draft materials for opportunity reviews, including financial and operational impacts, cost to capture, and execution work plan.

• Craft presentations and communications to summarize data for Finance leadership to facilitate decision-making.

• Provide project management support to ensure operational execution of initiatives, including tracking metrics and measuring success over time working with business leaders and FP&A partners.

• Assist with ad hoc reporting and analytical projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years experience conducting quantitative/ financial analysis at a large company.

• Adept at synthesizing complex information and developing recommendations.

• Extremely proficient with Excel, PowerPoint or the G-Suite equivalent.

• Experience working with large data sets.

• Extremely detail-oriented. 

• Genuine passion and excitement for Netflix’s unique .

• Experience with managing executive stakeholders is preferred.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000-240,000.
