As an Associate Research Analyst in the Markets - Knowledge Management & Insights team, you will conduct in-depth research and analysis to stay updated with market trends. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret data, providing insights on market developments. You will also prepare and present research findings, monitor competitor activities, conduct desktop research, gather and interpret data from various sources, assist in implementing knowledge management practices, analyze survey data, and maintain accurate documentation.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of research experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with data passion.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in prompting with GenAI.
  • Ability to write concise data analyses.

  • As an Associate Research Analyst in the Markets - Knowledge Management & Insights team, you will conduct in-depth research and analysis to keep our organisation stay updated with market trends. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and interpret data, providing insights and updates on market developments. Your role is essential in understanding market trends, the competitive landscape, and internal client needs. 

  • Prepare and present research findings to senior management and other stakeholders. 

  • Monitor and analyse competitor activities and market developments to support business strategies. 

  • Conduct thorough desktop research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the market. 

  • Gather and interpret data from various sources, including industry reports, market surveys, and internal databases. 

  • Assist in developing and implementing knowledge management practices to disseminate market insights effectively. 

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to analyse survey data results and support thought leadership/publication development. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of research findings, data sources, and analysis processes. 

Requirements :

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, management, or other relevant fields from a top-tier university with a minimum GPA of 3.0. 

  • Preferably 2 to 3 (maximum) years of working experience in research activities. 

  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for working with numbers and data. 

  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting using spreadsheets, Power BI (preferable), and other relevant tools. 

  • Proficient in prompting with GenAI (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to support research findings and content development for insights. 

  • Ability to write concise analyses based on data, qualitative discussions, desktop research, and reports for thought leadership or publication development. 

  • Ability to analyse data and effectively convert it into bar charts, line charts, and other graphical representations. 

  • Strong knowledge of research methodologies, tools, and techniques. 

  • Ability to learn and apply benchmarking techniques for research database platforms. 

  • Strong ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail. 

  • Fast learner, proficient in both written and spoken English.

  • Able to work hybrid WFO and WFH as scheduled – committed person and proactive team player. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Able to work well with various other team members or business units with multiple backgrounds. 

  • Committed to meeting deadlines and able to find resolutions and win-win solutions under tight deadlines. 

  • Able to work independently in preparing or managing data for various types of industries to support business activities and meet required deadlines. 

  • Diligently attends to details, pursues quality in accomplishing tasks, and maintains a high level of accuracy. 

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent time management.
