Advanced Systems Group, LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented AV Technical Coordinator to support the execution of daily AV operations, live events, and hybrid meetings at a corporate campus. This client-facing role involves assisting with AV system setup and operation for internal events, conducting audio, video, and lighting checks, and ensuring AV equipment functionality. The coordinator will also perform routine AV system checks, troubleshoot issues in meeting spaces, and maintain organization of AV areas. Responsibilities include tracking AV needs, assisting with room setup logistics, and maintaining documentation on equipment usage and service tickets. The role requires 2-4 years of experience in AV coordination, production assistant, or AV support roles, with familiarity with various AV systems and task tracking tools.
Must have:
  • 2-4 years of AV coordination/support experience
  • Familiarity with AV systems (switchers, mics, projectors)
  • Working knowledge of task tracking tools
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Assist with AV system setup and operation
  • Conduct audio, video, and lighting checks
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day AV issues
Good to have:
  • Prior corporate or live event experience
  • Exposure to Ross Ultrix or Acuity systems
  • Familiarity with Shure, Blackmagic, Clear-Com hardware
  • Experience with LED walls, video routers
  • Basic knowledge of lighting consoles
  • Hands-on use of streaming software

We are looking for:

Advanced Systems Group LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented AV Technical Coordinator to support the execution of daily AV operations, live events, and hybrid meetings at our client’s corporate campus. This client-facing role is ideal for a hands-on technician who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering high-quality AV service.

Responsibilities:

Event Setup & Operational Support
  • Assist with setup and operation of AV systems for internal events, all-hands meetings, and live streams.
  • Conduct audio, video, and lighting checks prior to event start times.
  • Ensure AV equipment is functional before each meeting or event.
  • Provide in-room AV support during events and escalate issues as needed.
System Coordination & Maintenance
  • Perform routine AV system checks across executive and conference rooms.
  • Support troubleshooting of day-to-day AV issues in meeting spaces.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and cable management in AV areas.
  • Coordinate with the AV Supervisor and IT teams on system-level escalations.
Scheduling & Logistics
  • Track AV needs for upcoming meetings and events; assist with room setup logistics.
  • Maintain documentation on equipment usage, service tickets, and maintenance logs.
  • Support gear labeling, inventory management, and minor equipment moves.
  • Assist with room reconfigurations or resets under direction of AV leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience in AV coordination, production assistant, or AV support roles.
  • Prior work experience in corporate or live event settings preferred.
  • Familiarity with AV systems including video switchers, microphones, projectors, and comms.
  • Working knowledge of task tracking tools like Slack, Monday.com, or Zendesk.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, running cables, and standing for long periods.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; AV certifications or trade school a plus.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Exposure to Ross Ultrix or Acuity systems.
  • Familiarity with Shure, Blackmagic, Clear-Com, or similar AV hardware.
  • Experience with LED walls, video routers, and projection systems.
  • Basic knowledge of lighting consoles like ETC Colorsource.
  • Hands-on use of streaming software or video conferencing platforms.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

This full-time role offers a salary of $40-60/hour depending on experience.
