Backend Software Engineer - Network Security

Team Introduction The Network Security team is on the mission to build innovative and enterprise-level network security products and solutions, to protect online businesses from being interrupted by cyber attacks. Responsibilities - Design and build scalable, maintainable, and efficient data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data models to support data products and analytics. - Develop APIs, data services, or tools to enable data accessibility for internal teams and external stakeholders. - Optimize data pipelines, storage, and queries for performance and scalability. - Support Bytedance businesses with custom built network security solutions to meet compliance and security requirements.

Minimum Qualifications - B.S. or advanced degree in Computer Science or other relevant majors. - 3+ years of backend software development experience. - Strong programming skills and coding style with Golang or the ability to acquire it quickly. - Experience with messaging middleware, relational databases, and backend architecture. - Highly motivated, positive, detail-oriented, and responsible. Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of data visualization tools and their integration with data products. - Experience working with machine learning models or integrating ML/AI capabilities into data products.
