The ideal candidate will have at least two years of media or digital sales experience and a proven track record of new business development.

The Opportunity
EHG Pregnancy and Parenting division is seeking an ambitious and motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing global team based in the UK. Reporting to the Sales Director, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for increasing new business revenues from a portfolio of existing clients. Working with the internal team, marketing staff, and other sales team members, this person will meet and exceed revenue goals.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients and new partnerships
  • Drive increased cross platform revenues, including growth of existing business
  • Cold call as appropriate to ensure the robust development of pipeline and future opportunities.
  • Create and facilitate relationships and dialogue with advertisers, marketing and agency decision makers.
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organisation.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
  • Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Travel to prospect and clients, agencies and industry events.
  • Liaise with all necessary internal colleagues to optimize quality and customer satisfaction
 
Job Qualifications
 
  • Minimum of two (2) years of media or digital sales experience
  • The ability to sell ideas, products and services
  • A proven track record of creating new business relationships with both agencies and clients
  • Competent knowledge of the digital and data landscape and business is preferred
  • Experience in data-driven sales is preferred
  • Ability to assess markets, customers, competitors, and prospects by uncovering and understanding opportunities, needs, and challenges
  • Knowledge of advertiser marketing objectives in order to articulate digital and data advertising solutions
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Collaborative and a team player, working across internal and external teams
