DevOps Engineer (Platform)

Job Description
This role is with one of the world's fastest-growing mobile game companies, providing entertainment to millions of active users. We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join the Platform group. You will work on a highly scalable gaming backend and a massive data processing pipeline, ingesting billions of daily events, ensuring systems and infrastructure scale and perform optimally.
Must have:
- Take charge of multi-cloud data platform’s uptime, performance, and cost-effectiveness
- Design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge generative AI engines and tools
- Work closely with architects, data scientists, software engineers, and system administrators
- Contribute to product architectural and infrastructure design, focusing on leveraging backend infrastructure
- Drive innovation by continuously evaluating and integrating new technologies
- 4+ years of proven experience as a DevOps engineer
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud architectures such as GCP or AWS
- 2+ years managing and administering Linux-based systems
- Proficiency in containerized environments and micro-services, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and tools, with practical experience using Git and ArgoCD
- Strong programming skills (Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus
Good to have:
- Preference for those experienced with Generative AI tools
- Innovative and ability to quickly learn new and existing technologies
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment

- Work closely with architects, data scientists, software engineers, and system administrators to design and implement scalable and secure data infrastructure solutions
- Contribute to product architectural and infrastructure design, focusing on leveraging backend infrastructure
- Drive innovation by continuously evaluating and integrating new technologies to improve our data platform’s capabilities and efficiency
