We are seeking a talented and experienced Director, Business Analytics to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for leading the business analytics function, driving data-driven decision-making, and providing strategic insights to support the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business analytics strategy aligned with company goals.
• Lead a team of business analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in business analytics and data science.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in business analytics, data analysis, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, and/or similar.
• Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Excellent understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning techniques.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the photonics or technology industry is a plus.
