Job Summary

Job Description

Deltia's Gaming, part of Absolute Sports, seeks a contract Gaming Editor to create engaging long-form content. Responsibilities include editing articles for grammar, factual accuracy, and style, implementing SEO strategies, suggesting content improvements, ensuring adherence to website guidelines and Google policies, and producing 7-10 articles weekly. Ideal candidates possess a strong gaming background, SEO knowledge, research skills, excellent written communication (US English), and the ability to work independently and efficiently. AI usage is strictly prohibited.

Must have:

Strong gaming background

The Opportunity

Location:Remote
Experience:2+ Years
Role: Contract

Key Responsibilities

Edit long-form gaming articles, which involves thoroughly checking them for grammatical/factual errors and refining the language as needed.
Implement SEO measures as requested.
Analyze website content and make suggestions for improvement.
Ensure articles meet website guidelines and do not violate Google policies.
Write 7-10 articles weekly.

Requirements

Strong gaming background and familiarity with the video game industry.
Knowledge of SEO fundamentals.
Ability to conduct research and communicate effectively with writers.
Excellent command of the English language (US).
Ability to work swiftly and independently without compromising quality.
Can join immediately or within the next 2 weeks.
