IGN is looking for a National Sales Manager in NYC. This role involves prospecting new advertisers and growing relationships with current ones. Responsibilities include achieving revenue targets, identifying brand partnerships, collaborating with internal teams, developing proposals, and selling media solutions. The role requires a motivated self-starter to make an immediate impact. The role requires to work at least 3 days a week from the office.

Job Summary:
IGN is looking for a National Sales Manager to join our Consumer sales team based in NYC. With this role, we are looking for an energetic seller - someone who is extremely motivated, a self-starter, and hungry to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. As the National Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for prospecting new advertisers while finding ways to grow relationships with current advertisers. The role will also require collaboration with the team’s Account Executive and Sales Coordinator to make sure campaigns are properly set up, delivering, and exceeding our advertisers’ campaign goals.

 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets by maximizing opportunities within your assigned accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new brand partnerships while expanding existing relationships to align with client marketing goals and drive incremental revenue.
  • Collaborate with a top-tier Account Executive and Sales Coordinator to ensure advertisers receive high-quality, results-driven campaigns.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with internal departments such as Ad Operations, Creative Services, Social, and Content to align on campaign execution and innovation.
  • Develop compelling proposals and pitches using IGN’s 360 media solutions including targeted media, custom content, influencer marketing, and experiential activations.
  • Deliver persuasive sales collateral that showcases IGN’s media solutions as industry-leading and highly effective.
  • Partner with clients and agencies through a consultative approach, positioning IGN as a trusted partner in building standout marketing campaigns.
  • Cultivate and grow relationships with key agency and client stakeholders to foster long-term business growth.
  • Sell integrated, cross-platform solutions across IGN’s portfolio: Display, Video, Events, Branded Content, Social, Programmatic, and Data offerings.
  • Learn and master new tools and platforms quickly to remain agile in a constantly evolving digital media environment.
  • Track and manage your sales pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting and consistent revenue performance.

Work Environment:
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, M-F.  There is an expectation for this role to work odd hours from time to time for client services, campaign reporting, and client entertainment/events.
  • Travel Requirements: Some travel is required for this role for in-person meetings with clients and/or prospects.
  • Physical Requirements: This role involves standard office-based activities, including extended periods of sitting, standing, and working at a computer. Occasional travel is required, which could include lifting and carrying materials, and navigating airports, hotels, and other venues.   • Work Model: This role is a hybrid position in New York City. This role will be required to work out of our NYC office at least 3 days per week.

Salary Disclosure: Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The base salary for this position ranges from $100-120k, plus incentive compensation (for eligible roles only), 401K with company match, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long-term disability, and a flexible time off policy.
